Rupinder Khullar

B. 1950, Lives and works in New Delhi. India

The prolific 68 year old Indian artist with a career spanning five decades inherited this passion from his hobbyist photographer father, whom he often accompanied on his travels amidst the scenic beauty of Uttranchal capital Dehra Dun, and surrounding hills. While still studying in school, he was inspired by his neighbour, a famed photo - journalist representing international magazines like Bunte and others - always on the move covering stories like Beatles, visiting Maharishi Mahesh Yogi ashram for meditation in Rishikesh in North India or the famous festivals and events in the country. Such was the profound impact on him that he chose to take up photography as a profession in 1972. With a passion  of  only doing travel books he got worldwide acclaim  for some of his titles - '1001 Images of Taj Mahal  A Great Wonder of The World', 'India Land of Celebrations' and many more.

Now at this stage of his career he is trying to build an emotional connection with the audience with his first series on Digital Art on Harmandir Sahib -  The Golden Temple, with an aim to showcase his work and also find sponsors for an Exhibition titled - 'A Spiritual Journey Sri Harmandir Sahib - The Golden Temple'.
